I feel as I practice these, & as I become aware, my Ignorance shifts, & thereby my Assumptions reduce, thus, my Sufferings reduce, as I start to make choices after Analyzing with Awareness... I can see my own past acts & think what I should shift... No Regrets/ Guilt as I feel that I did not have enough Knowledge/Awareness while I made those choices then... Clear thought process of what I have done & what I should do to bring a shift in my life... A very calm thinking process...

I'm beginning to feel that the Senses are not exactly the Physical Organs, & beginning to feel the importance of Energy within Us... Feeling the energy in & around us... I was with the breath most of the time today, & I now feel truth is not actually what we know or think... It's more deeper... The deeper I see, the calmer I am..."

I sat down and looked at the pattern you pointed me to in my 1 on 1, and I came up with Beliefs and the New Future I want to work towards. I Broke through the Helpless Pattern and I feel completely different now. I don't know how to describe it. It feels like I successfully reframed the way I looked at my past. The song "Believer" by Imagine Dragons started playing in my head as I finished.

"I  began the 9-week Intensive when I was struggling with fear of almost everything. Through the first two modules of Alterations, I’m learning how by being present in my own body I can feel safe.

 

This allows me to look at my fears and be able to understand where they are coming from. How not to  drown in them, but be able to hold them and let them pass and allow my self to heal.

 

The group sessions are spaces that provide a community where you can see reflections of your own struggles at times, understanding other perspectives about our reactions, thoughts and behaviors.

 

Through the first two modules, I have noticed Shifts in me that are making me feel equipped to understand  myself and my emotions more effectively. For one I’m not drowning in my emotions. I feel I'm able to answer many questions that were stuck for me and were a constant noise in my head. This makes me feel a certain joy, which I think I had lost somewhere. Its a process and I'm learning."

"Initially, I was hesitant to join the program. But then a message from Shobhali mentioned the word "repeating patterns". It got stuck in my head. I was able to reflect on major incidents of my life and I could observe that yes a repeating pattern is there and instantly felt an urge to break it. I felt none other than Shobhali could help me do so.


I have just finished week 3 of the 9 week journey and I took way more time than expected to finish it, throughout the time Shobhali was supportive and constantly pushing me to practice everyday and I am able to see a change in me.


Earlier, I used to feel "Ok, this is the way I am" but now I can easily figure out a difference between my emotion and me being me. The awareness of my body, of my surroundings, of my emotions which has developed in me, makes me feel that gratitude towards everything around me and be a calmer person."

"I remember the first time opening up in the group about my ordeals & the moment they said that "they see me" it was an unexplainable shift I felt within me. I still can't articulate just that it felt like that moment there was a vacuum created and the power of the negative thought died. 
Post that I became so much more of myself as if I had a new face and wisdom to comprehend life.

I believe it's one of the things, "few things that can't be described in words but can be deeply felt within".

My initial feelings around the group work were being scared, apprehensive, almost like how can I get naked in front of everyone but not realizing that's where the magic lies. I feel I have become more connected with myself than ever.

I'm mind-blown to another level looking at the program now, it's next level beautiful how you have brought in your learning and integrated them in this beautiful program. You have no idea but I'm super duper excited to follow through it now."

I really liked the Basics of Basics course. While you suggest a way to go about it, I also like that the way it is designed also gives the flexibility to do it your own way. Like I spent more than one day with just the breathing exercise and breathing the right way, and then did the mind and emotion lesson together and practiced it together because I didn't think I needed to do it one day at a time. But I wanted more time with the breath and it was nice to feel I can take that. I am really enjoying the simple structures and practices, and really to the point instruction. It also gives me a chance, and support to show up for myself everyday which has been one of the goals this year but it doesn't feel I am absolutely alone in it. Thank you for creating something like this.

For me it was important to have a guide/ therapist who could build onto my own awareness and offer me insights into the core reasons behind my repetitive behavioral patterns. I started the journey with an understanding of my own anxieties, insecurities, and patterns of overthinking that would show up as lower confidence/ self-esteem time and again.Shobhali started my journey with a discovery call that allowed us to align on what it was really that I wanted to improve for my mental well-being. She is a patient and empathetic listener and I believe, her vast experience as an inner guide allowed her to read between the lines and surface the underlying symptoms/ sources of anxieties and fears. During my journey, she offered valuable input and fresh perspective that helped me identify my own emotional/ reaction patterns and shift my ways of thinking to create a healthier state of mind. She introduced tools that empowered me to take my own journey of healing without being bound to an external support to continue it.

Healing journey makes you weaker at times.. what I thought was a blessing, was actually toxicity wrapping my true being and not letting me blossom to my fullness. It is very challenging to go deep inside me and uncover the patterns and love myself again. Shobhali helps me through this journey by providing me a non-judgemental space and her techniques. It makes me very emotional at times to believe what I was being wrapped in, but her holding space is giving me the trust to believe in myself. The 21 days of GOM have left an imprint on me. I've realized that being still in the mind and being mindful has allowed me to tap into so many possibilities. I will remember it and keep coming back to it.

The revelations of my biggest fears and character traits have shifted my perspective. This is for every fellow seeker who wishes to break free from a prolonged conditioning that limits life. I genuinely hear an inner voice guiding me to do what's needed in every moment.

Shobhali has been a blessing to all of us who have had the privilege to know her and work with her.

I am really thankful to Shobhali for helping me in two ways:

Anxiety restricts!

It would paralyze me to the point of not being able to do the simplest of work, and diminishing self worth.
My sessions with Shobhali made me understand anxiety for myself better. Its scientific and the emotional workings, especially the small techniques given during sessions.. that one can remember and do easily. Maybe a small doddle since I like to sketch that will release the energy at the point.

Shobhali has a gentle way that assures you that you can be yourself and experience the space fully. She creates a space that makes you feel secure to open yourself and share. She explains both the logical and emotional aspect of every concept and experience.
The sessions have helped me, to recognize my triggers and also how to work on resolving them.

The series is one of those rare programs where no amount of description or testimonials can do justice to the experiential learning and insight one gains about oneself and their emotional lives.

Shobhali managed to create such a holding and empathetic space that it allowed for me to go back to my inner child and just let myself play and have my shadows come to the fore to enable engagement. The guided visualizations were extremely strong.

Shobhali’s curiosity and yearning to share all that she has gathered over years through her experiences made the space so rich. I have never seen a more available facilitator in terms of the presence she provides and the person that she is. I would do it again without a second thought.

I wanted to deepen my meditation practice and this is exactly what happened in GOM. I gained so much knowledge and techniques of meditation from this course. I now tailor it the way that fits me on the day, no app needed and I see the benefits of doing it. I am so much more aligned with who I am. I simply listen, which is something I was not really able to do before.

I even used visualisation techniques from this course that helped me overcome fear and now I play live as an ecstatic dance DJ. Dance has always been my medicine and I feel so privileged and in service for others to facilitate this type of conscious dance healing.

I also combined different techniques we covered and I managed to get deeper into why I tend to under-estimate myself, and put myself down compared to others. Childhood memories came up and I allowed the pain to be felt and expressed. I usually tend to only focus on the good memories and put those trauma to the side as if they are not important. But I am now realising they are key to who I am and I have only love for those parts in me that I used to judge.

Overall it has been a transformative experience and I cannot thank Shobhali enough for her passion and teaching skills.

Through my organization I got an opportunity to meet Shobhali who did many sessions with us every Friday, and every time when we met her we met ourselves deeply.

She started to create an inner space for us through meditation practice. Because of this space I met my inner child for the first time and got to know which emotions, feelings played within me from my childhood, and I reached out to Shobhali directly to work on these emotions and feelings.

We did many one-on-one sessions which really helped me to work on myself. I reflected on many positive and negative experiences of my life. It made a big difference within from how I was earlier. I became empathetic for myself and others. I was not sure about my capabilities, but Shobhali found my capabilities and strength. I found a new version of myself after meeting Shobhali.

I was a part of the first batch of GOM by Shobhali. It was one of my wisest decision to be a part of this circle. 

This is how the circle helped me:

1. It made me feel really safe in terms of where I was or where I wasn't. The space was non-judgemental.
2. I always thought or told myself that "you aren't the type who would meditate" since sitting still in a non meditative space was a nightmare for me but the 21 days of consistent practice, reflection, learning and unlearning helped me challenge this belief of mine.
3. I walked away with a list of techniques that worked for me which actually made meditation more exciting. Earlier I was just aware of the breathing technique and that felt boring at times.
